It’s hard to keep up with David Plaut’s accomplishments. He has recently been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates. ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA membership consists of more than 7,300 lawyers—equally balanced between plaintiff and defense—and judges spread among 96 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

And David and Catherine were proud to be recognized on the 2023 Texas Super Lawyers list. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. We’re very proud to have the respect of our peers, especially this year as we celebrate 25 years of our partnership! We’re even more proud that we have managed to surround ourselves with smart lawyers who make us look good!
