Eva DeLeon

Biography

Eva DeLeon received her juris doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2010, where she was a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association, a senior staff editor on the SMU Law Review, and a best brief nominee in the Jackson Walker Moot Court competition. She graduated from Northwestern State University’s Louisiana Scholar’s College in 2004, with a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts with a humanities and social thought concentration and a minor in philosophy. Her practice focuses primarily on civil litigation with an emphasis on first-party and third-party insurance defense and coverage disputes. Prior to joining Hanna & Plaut, much of Eva’s has practice was in Dallas, Austin, and the Tyler, Texas area in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, appellate, construction law, family law, probate, and school law.
