Alisa Trejo

Biography

Alisa Trejo focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on third party insurance defense. Prior to joining Hanna & Plaut, Alisa worked in family law, criminal law, class action lawsuits, workers’ compensation, and health care regulation.

Alisa earned her juris doctorate from Baylor Law with a distinction in Health Law. At Baylor Law, Alisa competed on three moot court competition teams. Alisa Trejo won ‘best brief’ in the Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath Moot Court Competition and had high speaking points at the National Health Law Moot Court Competition. Alisa earned the ‘High A’ in Alternative Dispute Resolution and won the ABA Negotiation Competition for the Southern Region. Alisa was an officer for the Hispanic American Law Student Association and volunteered with the immigration clinic at Baylor Law.

In her free time, Alisa enjoys watching science fiction and horror movies, listening to records, and scuba diving.
