Biography
Melissa Ferringer’s practice focuses on insurance coverage matters and insurance bad faith litigation. Prior to joining Hanna & Plaut, Melissa had her own general practice in Austin handling cases in the following diverse areas of law: Administrative Law, Civil Litigation, Creditor/Debtor Rights, Education Law, Employment Law, Employee/Employer Relations, Family Law, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Wills & Estates. Melissa’s broad skill set and exceptional research and writing skills led to the successful settlement and disposition of her cases.

When Melissa is not practicing law, she is a volunteer and active PTA member at her son’s school.
