Biography
David’s practice focuses on insurance coverage matters, insurance bad faith litigation, trial and appellate work. David has extensive experience in federal practice and in the insurance bad faith field. While at the University of Texas School of Law, David was the articles editor of the Texas Law Review and he served as a law clerk for United States District Judge Edward Prado in San Antonio before beginning private practice. David is a frequent speaker on insurance related topics at continuing legal education conferences around the state.

Admissions
David is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the United States District Court for all Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Affiliations
David is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Insurance Section), the American Bar Association and the Austin Bar Association. David is a member of the Defense Research Institute.
When not busily practicing law, David spends his time coaching his two sons at the West Austin Youth Association ("WAYA") in soccer, basketball, and baseball and has been recognized as a Golden Whistle Award winner for his contributions to WAYA youth sports.
